Activities

The village offers many activities, particularly walking, admiring the landscape. Backpacker offered to the following destinations:

1. At Koumaro the nearby forest with azilakous and arbutus
2. In the monastery of St. Anthony dating from the 16th century, which today survives the temple and keep the village cemetery.
3. In the nearby peak of Kule with magnificent sea views, Akrotiri Chania, Psiloritis and the plain of Rethymno.
4. Afternoon stroll in the nearby village of Kastelos with its cottages and traditional cafes.

Remarkable journey on foot or by car to neighboring Argyroupoli, just 3.5 kilometers from the village, with lots of water and its unique food offered by many taverns.

On warm summer days the escapes at Sea Kavros or Georgoupolis just 10 minutes from the village and 15 minutes respectively by car, gives you moments of relaxation and enjoyment to kids and adults.
